Why We Ditched the Fixed CSA Box

Every CSA farm has the same story: half the members love kohlrabi, half have
never touched it and never will, and the farm has no way to tell them apart
until the box shows up. A lot of that produce ends up in the compost, which
helps nobody.

The box builder is our attempt to fix that — you tell us what you actually
want, up to the weight the box holds, and we pack that. It's more work on our
end than printing the same box eight weeks running, but a lot less food gets
wasted, and a lot fewer members quit halfway through the season.
